About Me

To begin with, I know that my artistic talent is merely on loan from God. HE is THE Master Artist. I only draw and paint from the physical world that He created. And I consider myself extremely blessed to be able to make a living doing what I love.

I have been interested in drawing as long as I can remember. At an early age, I took a great interest in drawing and painting wildlife and even took private art lessons from grade school through high school. My interest in drawing and painting wildlife stemmed an interest in plants that would attract wildlife. This eventually evolved into an interest in landscape design.

In 1994 I obtained a Landscape Architecture degree from Purdue University.  I practiced as a Landscape Architect in Atlanta, GA, Chattanooga & the greater Nashville area for over 12 years and finally returned to my love of drawing and painting. In early 2006 I decided that it was time for me to venture off on my own and I started my own Architectural Rendering business.  My experience as a Landscape Architect combined with my artistic abilities enables me to provide my clients with high quality and accurate Architectural Renderings with a designer's perspective.

While creating Architectural Renderings allows me to utilize some of the design skills I learned as a Landscape Architect, my real passion is creating paintings and drawings portraying God's wonderful creation.  Every painting I create of the natural world reminds me of what a masterful artist He is.  That is one of the reasons why I get so detailed, in an attempt to reflect how wondrously made are the flowers, animals, and birds.  If my art work can cause people to ponder that, then I've done my job.  I believe the saying is true, "God is in the details".

I currently balance my professional time between creating architectural renderings and fine art.
